He entered the service in September, 1942, and was sent to England in December, 1943, where he was assigned to the 9th airforce as line chief. His wife resides at Calumet City.
Besides his wife and parents, five brothers, Norris, with the armed forces, Earl and Vernon of Cedar Lake, Paul of Hammond, Roy of Calumet City and two sisters, Mrs. Neva Albie of Chicago, and Mrs, Pauline Schapper of Cedar Lake, survive.
