All the family have preceded Mr. Beebe except two brothers and one sister, Fred J., of Crawfordsville, Ind., Frank J., of Daytona Beach, Florida, and Mrs. L.P. Bradley, of Momence, Illinois.
Mr. Beebe was married January 10, 1883, to Miss Nellie Hayden, and to this union were born three children, all of whom survive: Mrs. Flora Hunt of Grant Park, Ill., Mrs. Alice Parmley of Riverside, Ill., and Roy Beebe, of Chicago. He is also survived by eight grandchildren to mourn his going.
Mr. Beebe was a loving father, a great believer in the Methodist Episcopal church, training his children in this belief. His last illness was only of a week's duration, although he had been a sufferer from rheumatism for 24 years.
He had made his home near Palmer, Ind., for the last eight years, yet most of his life was spent near Lowell, Indiana.
Mr. Beebe passed away April 9, 1928, aged 71 years, 3 months and 12 days.
Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd McColly, near Palmer, with whom he made his home, last Thursday. Rev. V.V. Hackley, of the Lowell M.E. church, conducted the services. The remains were brought to Lowell for interment and a short service was held at the cemetery. Interment was made in the family lot in Lowell cemetery, in charge of Sheets and Sons.
