His wife and two sons left about two weeks ago for a trip through Europe and since that time he has been dining out evenings with friends. The evening before he had dined with friends and complained of not feeling well and went to his home early. The next morning he was found dead at breakfast by the maid who notified his brother, Hal, at once.
Lewis Binyon was the eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Crip Binyon and was raised to manhood at Cedar Lake. When he attained manhood he went to Chicago and after several years engaged in the brick business and at the time of his death he was president of the Kimball Brick Co.
Funeral services were held from the home Tuesday with burial at Union Ridge cemetery. He is survived by his wife, two sons -- Spencer and Hilliard; one brother -- Hal, of Chicago; three sisters -- Mrs. U.J. Spindler, of Cedar Lake, Mrs. Guy Nichols, of Crown Point, and Mrs. Walter Brownell, of Valparaiso.
