MRS. LOUIE BLACK DIES SUDDENLY AT SARASOTA, FLA.
Mrs. Louie Black passed away in a hospital at Sarasota, Florida, last evening after a short illness.
Mrs. Black and son, John, drove last week, planning to stay about three days. Suddenly she became very ill and was hospitalized, falling into a coma Monday. Tuesday evening, Gladys left by plane to be at the bedside of her mother. Mrs. Black regained consciousness Wednesday morning and spoke to her children, then lapsed into another coma from which she did not recover.
Reburial services were held here just last month for the Blacks' son, Pvt. Theo Black, who lost his life in France in 1944.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed at press time, but relatives and friends may call Sheets funeral home for particulars.
