NICHOLS - BORN
A pretty home wedding was solemnized Monday afternoon, at the home of Roscoe Born at Schneider, when Miss Sara Gay Nichols and John W. Born were united in marriage. The bridal party entered the living room to the strains of Lohengrin's wedding march, and met before the improvised altar decorated with the bride's color scheme of pink and white with beautiful flowers and streamers, where the Rev. Ralph B. Colton read an impressive ring ceremony, while "I Love You Truly" was softly played. The bride wore a dainty rose blush georgette gown gold lace trimmed, while the matron of honor, Mrs. Myron Born, wore love bird green crepe.
After the ceremony a dainty two course luncheon was served to a number of relatives and friends.
The bridal couple left for a motor trip through Wisconsin and Ohio, and will be at home to their many friends in Schererville, Ind., after August 1st.
