Miss Chipman acted as organist. It was one of the largest attended funerals ever witnessed to Lowell for some time. Mr. Weaver had charge of the burial service. The casket was white and of the couch design. It was covered with beautiful floral pieces. Elder Bruce spoke in a reverent impressive manner that had a telling effect. At the conclusion of the service the casket was wheeled to the vestibule and opened that the people might view the remains as they passed out. The body reclined on the billowy couch attired in a white satin robe with a cluster of flowers at her head. She presented the appearance of a bride fallen asleep and had a peaceful countenance. The pall bearers were composed of young married men while their wives acted as honorary pall bearers as follows: Orla Alyea, Wells Ainsworth, Harvey Hildebrandt, Reno Rouse, Chas Lambert and Mel Griessel. The services throughout were very beautiful. The remains were laid to rest in the mausoleum in the cemetery. The heart felt sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved ones in their sad hour of affliction.
