The following unidentified newspaper article (ca. 1904) was found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:
A party was given at the home of Gwyneth Castle Wednesday night in honor of the birthdays of Miss Castle and Miss Ellen Love. There was a number of young people present and the time was pleasantly spent in games, music and sociability. Refreshments were served.
