The following undated, unidentified newspaper article was found in a copy of Helen Craft's Scrapbook at the Lowell Public Library:
MARRIED: -- In a letter to Mr. and Mrs. Elisha Chapman, Mr. Frank Chapman announces his marriage to a young lady of Milwaukee. The marriage ceremony was performed at the home of the bride and groom in Milwaukee in the presence of only Mr. Elwin Post and a sister of the bride. Frank was formerly a well-known and respected Lowell boy and his many friends will wish him and his wife abundant happiness and prosperity. . . .
This article appeared in the Aug. 17, 1901, Lowell Souvenir (page 7, column 3):
Frank Chapman and wife, of Milwaukee, are the guests of relatives here. He is running on a freight engine from Milwaukee to LaCrosse.
