SERVICES TUESDAY FOR JAMES C. COONEY, 97

Services for James C. Cooney, 97, of rural route 2, Lowell, were held in Indiana Harbor at 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. Matthew Lange officiating. Interment was made in Sanders Cemetery, Lowell.

Cooney, a former resident of Indiana Harbor's Marktown section, died last Friday after a lingering illness.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy McCuskey and Mrs. Mark Sudkamp, both of Chicago, and Mrs. Katherin Schaller of Pittsburg, Pa.; two sons, Carl and William, both of Chicago; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
