DEATH OF FORMER RESIDENT
Word has been received here by Mrs. Fannie Wood of the death of Mrs. Byron Cross at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Belva Gotto, in Laporte county. Mrs. Cross formerly lived here with her family, but a number of years ago they moved to Laporte county, where she has made her home most of the time since. Mrs. Cross will be remembered by many of our older residents. She was buried in the Pine Lake cemetery near Laporte, Ind.
