This February 18, 1943, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 5:
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Van Nada were called to Newburgh, Ind., last Thursday by the death of her father, R.H. Crowder, 83 years of age. He had visited his daughter and family several time and was quite well known here.
