John Burnis "Buck" Doty (1913-1958)

A May 11, 1944, Lowell Tribune article (page 1, column 5) lists John B. Doty of Shelby as one of 26 registrants of the local Selective Service board, Crown Point, who was inducted into the army a week previous. Sixteen men of the group, including Mr. Doty, were fathers.
