The deceased was the daughter of Archibald and Mary Elizabeth Corey and was born in Marion, O., September 4, 1842. She was united in marriage to Lyman O. Dunn, September 4, 1869, to which union were born three children -- W.C. Dunn, residing on the home stead in Eagle Creek township; Mary L. Berdine, of Hebron; and Cora B. Turner, of Eagle Creek township.
In early life the deceased united with the Presbyterian church and remained a faithful Christian until her death. Her motto in life was "Everything is all right," and it is a significant fact that her last words were "Every thing has been done for me that could be done, and everything is all right."
The funeral services were held in Hebron Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, when a large assemblage of her relatives and friends in Hebron and neighbors in Eagle Creek township mourned her passing, after a most useful life, the first of which included the vicissitudes of pioneer times. Interment was in Salem cemetery at the side of her late husband, who preceded her in death by several years.
