Robert E. Easto

Fireman Apprentice Robert E. Easto, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard B. Easto of 819 N. Grant ST., Crown Point, Ind., has returned to the United States aboard the guided missile destroyer USS Robison after a deployment with the U.S. Seventh Fleet off the coast of Vietnam.

During a total of 67 days on station, the Robison participated in "Sea Dragon" operations along the coast of North Vietnam, and provided naval gunfire support for two amphibious operations involving the Third Marine Amphibious Force, the First Calvary Division and the Republic of Korea Tiger Division in South Vietnam.

"Sea Dragon" is the operation to stop the infiltration of men and war supplies from north to South Vietnam by sea.
