Mr. and Mrs. Walter C. Tappan entertained on Sunday in honor of Pvt. Dale Fiers Myers of the army air corps, who is on furlough at his home in East Chicago. Guests were his mother, Mrs. Dell Myers of East Chicago, his aunts, Mrs. Lyda Nondorf, and Miss Winifred Fiers, his cousin, Miss Birja Nondorf, all of Whiting, Mr. and Mrs. John O. Huebner and children, Donald and Sandra Lee, of Hammond.
