For 38 years, Mr. Fisher was employed as agent and telegrapher for the New York Central Railroad, serving in that capacity at North Hayden.
He was born November 1, 1892, in Warren County, Ind., the son of Warren and Alice Fisher. On August 14, 1917, he was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Gilkey, and the couple established their home here soon after. In their long years of residency, they have acquired a wide circle of friends, who affectionately dubbed Mr. Fisher as "Mose."
Surviving besides his wife are two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Downey of Frankfort, Ind., and Mrs. J. Fox of Marshall, also one brother, A.C. Fisher of Frankfort.
Memorial services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home with Rev. E.L. Worley officiating, and interment was in the Lowell cemetery.
