Arthur Foster, of Evanston, Ill., visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Foster, Sunday and Monday. He informed us that he has passed the examination and had been cerified by the district board for service in the army and was liable to go any time.

FORMER LOWELL BOY MARRIED
Arthur L. Foster and Miss Celesta Geherty were married last Saturday afternoon at the Evanston Hotel by the Rev. Ernest F. Little, of the First Methodist church of Evanston.
The parlors and dining room were beautiful in Autumn colors and gorgeous yellow Chrysanthemums. The ceremony was followed by a delightful five course dinner to about fifty guests. Mr. and Mrs. Foster left immediately to spend the week in Wisconsin. Congratulations and best wishes follow them in the years to come.
