Her funeral, which was largely attended, occurred from her late home at 10:30 a.m. Thursday; C.W. Ross, of Chicago, having charge of the funeral services. Funeral Director H.V. Weaver had charge of the burial services. There were thirty of her old neighbors and friends from Chicago and several from Crown Point in attendance. Her remains were laid to rest in the Lowell cemetery. A dutiful wife and mother, an obliging neighbor and a Christian woman has gone from among us.
She leaves her husband, five children; two brothers -- Jay, of North Judson and Albert, of Lowell; four sisters -- Mrs. J.O. Clark, Mrs. Niles Clement, Mrs. Simon Hill and Miss Jennie Vandecarr, of Lowell, together with a large number of relatives and friends to mourn to whom the TRIBUNE tenders sympathy in their dark hour of sorrow and bereavement.
