Mrs. Frank Fuller, Sr.

On last Friday morning Mrs. Frank Fuller, Sr., passed away at her home, in this place, the immediate cause of death being strangulated hernia, which Drs. Gibbs and Brannon found at the autopsy. The deceased for many years has been growing very fleshy and for a long time has weighed upwards of 300 pounds. It was thought by some of the physicians that a tumor was the cause of the great growth, but the autopsy proved it pure fat, the substance being six inches thick, which has given her great distress for the past few years.

Mrs. Fuller's maiden name was Furgeson [Ferguson?], her family settling in West Creek township in a very early day. She was 63 years old and has been a resident of our county since the pioneer times. She was respected by all who knew her, and has been a subject of sympathy for a long time She leaves a husband and a grown up family of children.
