Mrs. George Gentry and little daughter, Joyce, are here from Washington, D.C. for an extended visit with her parents, the Fred Dahls. Mrs. Gentry, the former Jeannette Dahl, expects to remain here while her husband, Col. George Gentry, is serving overseas.
The following November 8, 1945, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 4:
Lieut. Colonel and Mrs. George C. Gentry and daughter, Joyce, have been here from Washington, D.C., visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Dahl. After being stationed at Washington for some time, he has just been discharged from the service.
This April 5, 1951, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 3:
Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Dahl drove to Oakmont, Pa., last Thursday where they are visiting their daughter Jeanette and husband Lt. Col. George Gentry and daughter Joyce and Jane Ellen. George has recently been called back into service and with his family will move to Washington, D.C. He was stationed there during World War II also.
