He was united in marriage to Miss Tracy Rock November 6, 1883. To this union was born four children, Mrs. Michael Fetch, of Cook, William Govert, of Cedar Lake, Mrs. Joseph Abraham, of Lowell, and George Govert, of Grant Park. Ill., who with their mother, survive him. He is also survived by one brother, John Govert, of Dyer, and nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
During his 48 years of married life Mr. Govert has made his home near Lowell, and was a man who was highly esteemed by all who knew him.
Funeral services were held at St. Edward Catholic church Saturday at 9 A.M. in charge of Rev. Anthony Kroeger. Interment was made at the Catholic cemetery east of Lowell, in charge of Weaver & Son, undertakers.
