Pfc. Lawson Hadden Wounded In Korea

Pfc. Lawson Hadden, 19, son of Mrs. Lawrence Mullen of Indiana avenue, who was wounded in battle on April 25th, was returned to the battle front on May 15th. He is a field artillery man.

Pfc. Hadden enlisted two years ago when the family moved here from Olmstead, Ky., and has been in Korea since September 15th. If rotation is carried out according to plan, the young soldier will arrive home not later than August or September. He has served overseas for 18 months.

Home From Korea

Cpl. Lawson H. Hadden, son of Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Mullen, who reside on Indiana Ave., arrived home Friday after serving in Korea with the army field artillery for 12 months. He docked at Seattle, Wash., last Monday aboard a navy transport returning 1,292 combat veterans.

After enjoying a 30-day furlough he will serve one more year to complete his term of enlistment.
