The following obituary was found on column 3, page 5, of the May 19, 1982, Lowell Tribune:
Ocie "Dick" C. Hall, age 78, of Glen Park formerly of Lowell, passed away Tues., May 11, 1982, at his residence. He is survived by: his wife, Mary; two grandchildren, Stacey and Jeffrey Hall, both of Portage; one brother, Earl Hall of Missouri; two sisters, Nona Hall of Missouri, and Iva Coggeshall of California, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held May 15 at Sheets Funeral Home in Lowell, with Rev. Timothy Doody officiating. Burial followed at the Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Westmont, Ill. Ocie Hall was a former member of the Lowell Lions Club and a past president of the Lowell Chamber of Commerce. He was a retired plant supervisor from Globe Industries in Lowell.
