He is a member of the 91st Bomb Wing that has the distinction of winning the USAF award twice for two consecutive years of continuous exceptionally meritorious service.
His organization was specifically cited for its achievement in flying long-range B-52 Stratofortresses on almost daily conventional bombing missions against Viet Cong targets while on temporary duty at a Western Pacific base from October 1966 to March 1967.
During the deployment, wing KC-135 Stratotankers supported the eight-engine bombers with in-flight refueling.
Sergeant Harrison, a heating specialist, wears a distinctive service ribbon as a permanent decoration to mark his affiliation with the 91st.
The sergeant is a graduate of London (Ky.) High School.
His wife, Judith, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark E. Edgington of 1024 W. 109th Ave., Crown Point, Ind.
