This April 15, 1943, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 3:
Honoring her mother, Mrs. William Hart, of Griffith, on her birthday, Mrs. Walter Miller held open house at her home east of town, last Sunday. Many relatives and friends called to pay their respects to the former Lowell lady. Dainty refreshments were served the guests by Mrs. Miller.
