Hayden - Cannon
A. Murray Hayden and Helen Mary Cannon were united in marriage at the home of the bride's uncle, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Cannon, at Gary, Ind., Thursday, June 24. The affair was a very quiet one, only members of the immediate families being present. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Seaman at 4 p.m.; the attendants were Miss Margaret Cannon, sister of the bride, and Vachel Cannon, a cousin of the bride. The groom is the son of Jesse B. Hayden and was born and raised near Lowell and has a host of friends here. The bride is the daughter of Richard Cannon and is a young lady who is highly respected by all her acquaintances. Immediately after the ceremony a delicious two course luncheon was served, after which the bridal couple left for a few days' trip.
The young couple have a host of friends who are extending congratulations and best wishes. They will be at home in a few days at 1222 Beacon St., East Chicago, Ind.
