Pauline Hetherington To Teach Abroad

Miss Pauline Hetherington, daughter of Mrs. Gladys Hetherington, 255 West Oakley St., will leave Lowell Friday, Aug. 19, for Fort Hamilton, N.Y. On Saturday she will fly from there to Germany.

The United States government has selected Miss Hetherington to teach in the American Dependent schools in Germany. These schools are for the children of members of the U.S. armed forces.

For the past three years Miss Hetherington has been a member of the faculty at the Benjamin Franklin elementary school in South Bend. She was a member of the class of 1948 of Lowell high school. She attended Hanover College and Indiana University, where she received her B.S. degree in 1952.
