The following unidentified newspaper article, hand-dated May 11, 1930, was found in a scrapbook owned by Harriet Hoevet Bennett:
The remains of E. L. Hoevet, who passed away at his home in Albert Lea, Minn. arrived here last Thursday and were taken to the Weaver funeral home where services were held. Rev. W.R. Vandre, pastor of the Lutheran church, conducted the services. Interment was made in Lowell cemetery in charge of Weaver and Son.
