Mr. Hoevet entered the employ of the Deering Harvester Company in 1901 as a salesman.
He became an expert in the maintenance of the machinery manufactured by the International Harvester company and in recent years has been one of the company's most valued servicemen.
No machine designed by the skilled engineers of the harvester company was too intricate for his skill and his treasured kit of tools.
Announcing Mr. Hoevet's retirement, H.C. Kruse, branch manager, said:
"Mr. Hoevet's long service with the company was marked by tireless energy, love of his work and a double portion of loyalty to his employers. The International Harvester company and his many friends wish him enjoyment of his well-earned retirement."
