The following unidentified newspaper article was found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:
DOUBLE WEDDING
A double wedding was celebrated at Nazareth, Texas, Thursday, Sept. 8, 1904, at which time John Huseman was united in marriage with Miss Catharine Thier and Louis Huseman with Miss Anna Thier; thus it will be seen that the Huseman brothers married sisters. The grooms are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Huseman here and are highly respected and industrious young men and went to Texas last Spring. Their father was present at the wedding. They each own a section of good land near Nazareth upon which they have built houses. They start out on their wedded life under most favorable circumstances. The TRUBUNE joins their many friends here at their old home in extending hearty congratulations and best wishes [for] future happiness.
