The altar was adorned with ferns, white carnations and roses, and candelabra bearing lighted tapers enhanced the setting for the impressive single ring rite solemnized by Father Chambers at four-thirty o'clock in the presence of relatives and friends.
Mrs. Margaret Trehey, organist, rendered a prelude of nuptial music and accompanied Miss Lorraine Bosco as she sang "Ave Maria" and "Dearest Mother."
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was lovely in a ballerina gown of imported white lace. Her veil of illusion was caught to a becoming Juliet cap, and she carried a colonial bouquet of red roses. A strand of cultured pearls complimented her ensemble.
The bride chose her cousin, Miss Marilyn Hoff, as her maid of honor. She was attractive in a gown of ice blue silk faille. Her colonial bouquet was arranged of pink roses.
Norman Jensen, brother of the groom, was best man.
For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Scheid selected a dress of beige silk. Mrs. Jensen wore a blue silk ensemble.
Dinner at Nantucket, 104th and Western Ave., Chicago, was followed by an open house from 7 to 12 p.m. at the home of the bride's parents.
For honeymoon travel to Lake Geneva, the bride donned a green knitted suit.
Mrs. Jensen, a graduate of Chicago Teachers' College, is a teacher in the Chicago school system. Mr. Jensen, who was discharged from the Navy in December, is a Tribune linotype operator.
The couple is residing at 15432 Myrtle Ave., Harvey, Illinois.
