Prominent Former Lowell Doctor Dies at Danville

Dr. B. M. Jewell, a prominent Lowell doctor of 30 years ago, died last Friday, August 15th, at his home in Danville, Illinois.

Associated with Lowell's esteemed Dr. John W. Iddings, prior to World War I., Dr. Jewell carried on while Dr. Iddings was in service.

Funeral rites were held at 3:30 Monday afternoon in St. James Church at Danville.

His wife, Marcella, and two sons, Benson and Roy and their families survive, besides a circle of friends.
