Mrs. Johnson moved to Lowell from Marion with her parents when she was a small child. The Johnsons left Lowell in 1928 and Mr. Johnson became a prominent Calumet district oil dealer. He died several years ago.
Mrs. Johnson owned and operated the well known Johnson Chicken Dinner Restaurant on U.S. 6 in Porter County for 25 years.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Irmadell McLaury of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Mary Brajcki of Valparaiso; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brothers, Walter Veach of Everett, Wash., Earl of Lakerton and Harry of Peru; and a sister, Mrs. Fern Stuart of Marion.
Memorial services were held at __ a.m. June 25, in St. Paul's Church, Valparaiso, with the _____ officiating. . . .
