This July 9, 1925, Lowell Tribune obituary appeared on page 7, column 6:
Mrs. Frances Kilborn, perhaps the oldest person in Lake county, passed away at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Will Randolph in Crown Point, Monday afternoon at the age of 99 years. She was one of the pioneer women of Lake County and numbered her friends by hundreds. She was keen and active up to a short time ago and retained an interest in all the happenings of the day. Funeral services were held at the M.E. church in Crown Point yesterday afternoon. She is survived by four children, Richard, Charles and Fred Kilborn and Mrs. Will Randolph. She was the grandmother of Clayton Randolph of Lowell.
