Henry C. Kirk

With the 2nd Infantry Division in Korea -- Army Capt. Henry C. Kirk, whose wife, Frances, and children live in Lowell, recently was named assistant operations officer of the 2nd Infantry Division Artillery in Korea.

A graduate of Alabama Polytechnic Institute, Captain Kirk has been in the Army 10 years and served in Europe during World War II. He has attended the artillery school at Fort Sill, Okla., and the Far East Chemical School at Camp Gifu, Japan.

His parents live in Winfield, Ala.
