Mrs. Krimbill was the daughter of Benjamin Smith, early day resident here, and a sister of the late Nat L. Smith, architect for many of the city's fine homes at the turn of the century and of public buildings here and over the county. Her husband, the late Frank B. Krimbill, also spent his entire life time in Crown Point, his birthplace. Their son Ben died during boyhood; their daughters, Miss Hazel and Miss Margaret, within a few days of each other when they were young women.
Resourceful and charming, Mrs. Krimbill retained an interest in her friends and the companionship and social meetings with them afforded until illness prevented. Before she went to live with her sister in Hebron she had for a number of years a room here in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Porter.
The Housekeepers was among the clubs which Mrs. Krimbill enjoyed.
Surviving with the sister, Mrs. Paulson, is a nephew Robert Paulson of Chicago; nieces include Mrs. Elmer Bullock of North Main Street.
Christian Science services were conducted at 2:30 in Geisen Chapel and cremation followed at Mount Hope, Illinois.
