Home on Furlough
Lt. Bob Lange, who was recently transferred from New Guinea to be hospitalized at Galesburg, Ill., arrived at his home in Lansing, Ill., last Saturday on a three-day pass to visit his wife and new-born daughter, Doris Marie, born at St. Margaret's hospital, Hammond, on August 30.
Lt. Lange is receiving treatment for a skin ailment contracted almost as soon as he arrived in New Guinea several months ago.
Lt. Lange, well known here, was born and reared northwest of Lowell and attended Lowell high. His many friends are pleased to learn that he is slowly regaining his health.
