Home from Overseas
Mrs. Herman Eilerman has received word that her grandson, Howard Lloyd, Av. M.S., who has been overseas the past 18 months, is home on furlough. The young man, who is well known here, expects to visit here before returning to duty.
This February 8, 1945, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 3:
Verne Lloyd and son, Howard, of West Lafayette were here last Thursday visiting his mother, Mrs. Herman Eilerman and family. Howard, who is home on furlough from his duties with the U.S. Marine Corps, will report at Quantico, Va., on Feb. 8th.
