She was born in Chicago, June 24, 1901, and passed to her eternal sleep, Sunday January 18, 1920, at the age of 18 years, 6 months and 24 days. She had worked for the Hammond Telephone Co. 2 years and 5 months.
Mable was a very dear sweet natured girl, a loving and obedient child. She leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. McCain, one sister, Lila, one brother, Richard, and a large circle of relatives and friends who join her family in mourning her loss. Miss. McCain was a grand-daughter of Mrs. Walter Cleaver, of Lowell.
Funeral services were held in Lowell Tuesday afternoon, January 20, 1920, Rev. E.F. Winkler, pastor of the Christian church, officiating. Interment in the Lowell cemetery.
