Since his last visit at the STAR office Everett has acquired another token of his excellent work for Youngstown Muney Railroad company -- he is wearing a very handsome Hamilton wrist watch, the fine gold of its face and case repeated in an elastic bracelet. On the back of the case is engraved testimony of Everett's is having fulfilled 15 years of service without chargeable accident. It is dated January 1, 1954. Everett wears a diamond set ring, emblem for 10 such "without accident" years and has the pocket watch given to employees who have a like record for five years service.
Everett had been to see one of his North Ward teachers, Miss Josephine Meeker, before coming to see the editor, a former classmate there. He looks forward and so does his father, to three weeks of good fishing together.
