The following June 29, 1944, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 3:
A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Michael Milakovic, Monday, June 26th at Gary Methodist hospital. The Milakovic's other son, Bruce, is staying with his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ray Danielson, of LaPorte, while his mother is hospitalized.
