The following October 4, 1945, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 4:
Announcements have been received of the birth of a son to Mr. and Mrs. Norman Miller at the Veterans' hospital, San Diego, Calif. Mrs. Miller is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Ruble. This is the Ruble's first grandchild, as well as the first great grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Ruble.
The following November 15, 1945, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 1, column 6:
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Miller, who have been in California while he was in service, have gone to Chicago, where he is attending school since receiving his discharge. Mrs. Miller is the former Phyllis Ruble, daughter of the Horace Rubles.
