The following unidentified newspaper article, hand-dated 1886, was in a collection owned by Lowell Town Historian Richard Schmal:
Married, on the 24th inst. at the residence of the bride's uncle, Martin Webber, Miss Lucy Hathaway to Mr. John Mitch, both of this place. May happiness and usefulness be theirs through life.
