Visited Sister and Aunt
Cpl. Ben Nichols of Camp Butner, N.C., on a 12-day furlough, visited his sister, Miss Kathryn Nichols and his aunt, Miss Ethel Nichols, here several days the past week. He also visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Nichols, at Henry, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Brady, in Chicago.
The following May 25, 1944, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 4:
Miss Ethel Nichols and niece, Miss Kathryn Nichols, were week-end guests of their brother and father, Ben Nichols, and wife, at Henry, Ill. Ben, Jr., was also home on furlough.
