The following unidentified newspaper article was found in a scrapbook owned by Town Historian Richard Schmal:
REBECCA OLSON DIES SUDDENLY THIS MORNING
Miss Rebecca Olson, who resided with her sister, Olava K. Olson at 248 West Commercial avenue, passed away suddenly this (Thursday) morning. Although not in the best of health for some time, her death came as a shock to her relatives and friends.
Mrs. Jennie Gregg of North Liberty St is also a sister.
Private services will be held at Sheets funeral home Saturday at 1 p.m. and interment will be made in Mt. Olive cemetery in Chicago.
Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Friday.

Miss Rebecca Olsen, 71, passed away suddenly in Lowell this morning (Thursday) at the home of her sister, Miss Olava K. Olsen. Miss Olsen formerly of Chicago had been living with her sister for several years.
Private services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock in Sheets funeral home at Lowell with Rev. Harold Hotchkiss of Lowell Methodist church officiating. Burial will be made at Mount Olive cemetery Chicago.
Another sister, Mrs. Jennie Gregg, of Lowell, survives.
