J.M. Pearce Wins "Corn King" Title

J.M. Pearce, Eagle Creek, was named the 20th annual Corn King at the Lake County Corn Egg, Potato, and Grain Show held Saturday, December 4, at Indian Trail Grange Hall east of Lowell. Reserve Champion and 4-H Champion in the ten ears of corn class went to Janet Kaiser, Cedar Creek.

Other champions named in Saturday's show were: Lee Kaiser, single ear of corn: Alan Kaiser, wheat: Ruth Kaiser, oats; George Meyer, soybeans; Anthony Wirtz, shelled corn; Rodney Johnson, potatoes; Marjory Hutton, popcorn, and Jimmy Hutton, eggs.
