The bride wore a white satin gown and white silk veil and carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses. She was assisted by her sister, Miss Clara, who was dressed in pink and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. Virgil Phillips, brother of the groom, was best man.
After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to about 30 immediate relatives.
