The following February 18, 1943, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5 column 3:
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Miles and Mrs. D.K. Frye attended the funeral of Mrs. C.M. Rice at Hebron last Friday. Mrs. Rice died at her home in Butler, Missouri where she and her husband, Dr. C.M. Rice have resided for a number of years since leaving Rose Lawn.
