This February 11, 1943, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 3:
Melvin Ross, well known Crown Point resident and manager of the Boston store there for many years, passed away at Denver, Colo., last Wednesday after being in poor health for some time. He had lived in that Colorado city with [his] son since his health failed. Funeral services were held at Crown Point, Saturday.
