Mrs. Mary Louisa Russell was born to J.S. Evans and wife February 11th, 1828, and died November 14th 1895, at the age of sixty-seven years, nine months and three days. She was afflicted with paralysis for five years. At the age of 12 she with her parents moved from Ohio to Indiana. In 1848* she was united in marriage to Warren Russell, to which union seven children were born, five of which are now living. Shortly after marriage she moved to Bertram, Michigan, near the university of Notre Dame; and five years later she was converted to the Catholic faith in which she died. In 1848* she moved back to Lake county where she remained until she died.
In this article, the marriage year and the year she moved back to Lake county were both listed as 1848.
